Four Seasons Resort Red Sea at Shura Island
Set on Shura Island with the Red Sea on three sides, this eco-luxury retreat on Saudi Arabia’s coast takes its cue from the landscape itself — undulating dunes and clusters of accommodation echoing the form of ancient desert trade caravans.
For the signage and wayfinding, Jackson Daly leaned into the desert trade story using embroidered fabric stretched over timber poles, evoking traditional desert tents while standing up to a barefoot-luxury resort environment. The result is wayfinding that reads as part of the architecture, not an addition to it.
Each hotel room featured an illuminated lantern to welcome the guests back home like a desert traveller.
