Jackson Daly were appointed to provide signage design for the first Andaz opened in the world. The hotel was built as the Great Eastern Hotel in 1884 and underwent extensive renovation for conversation into the Andaz. The range of architectural styles within the building required varied creative solutions bespoke to each location.
The interior signage used a variety of creative solutions to integrate with the interior. Projected light was used for the directional signage in the corridors including projections on to the floor and walls.
